Yellowstone Fishing Trips

Yellowstone is one of the best inland trout habitat in America - and among the best in the world! We visit Pebble Creek, Slough Creek, Cache Creek, and the Lamar and Yellowstone Rivers, as well as select spots with spectacular fishing.

Yellowstone Rough Riders offers you two types of fishing trips: either hike to your fishing destination (guided walk and wade) or ride our horse to your fishing destination. We'll provide all the fishing gear you'll need at no charge.

Your fishing guides at Yellowstone Rough Riders are very knowledgeable about the back country waters of Yellowstone. We've been guiding adventurous anglers safely into Yellowstone for more than 30 years!

Horseback Fishing Trips

The advantage of traveling to the water on horseback is that you get in faster, go in farther and have more time to fish, plus feel better once you get there. Two hours or so on horseback and you're on the water enjoying some of the best trout fishing in America!

A full day of horseback riding and fishing for one or more people can provide an unforgettable day of family fun. Let mom and the kids continue to ride while dad stops and fishes for a spell! Full-day horse ride and fishing trips last for 8-10 hours. A delicious lunch and beverages are provided.

Full-day horseback fishing trip:
3 or more people: $180 per person
2 people: $200 per person
1 person: $275

Guided Walk and Wade Fishing Trips

If you enjoy walking through breathtaking landscapes to get to the water, then this is the trip for you! Your personal guide will show you some beautiful back country. Walk and wade fishing is provided for one or two anglers only. Fish for a full day or a half day. Full-day trips last for 6-8 hours and include a delicious lunch and beverages. Half-day trips last for 3-4 hours.

Half-day walk and wade fishing 1 or 2 anglers: $225
Full-day walk and wade fishing 1 or 2 anglers: $330

Fishing trips are offered from July 1 to October 15.
